East Hartford, CT - The Town of East Hartford has begun roadwork in the Cambridge Drive neighborhood, as part of the ongoing Road Improvement Program. Residents should expect a series of road improvements in the area over the next few weeks. Below is a list of roads that will be worked on for the weeks of August 1 through August 15, weather-permitting: 

Week of August 1-August 8

  • Reset of manholes on Nassau Lane and Milbrook Lane
  • Handel Road - drainage work
  • Nassau Lane - fine grading, manhole resents, as-built survey 
  • Milbrook - fine grading, mahole resets, as-built survey 
  • Various roads in the neighborhood -  granite curbs, concrete sidewalk and ramps

  • Oxford Drive, Cambridge Drive, Princeton Lane- milling 

Week of August 10-August 15

  • Oxford Drive, Cambridge Drive - full depth section
  • Nassau Lane - paving 
  • Milbrook Lane - paving
  • Princeton Lane - full-depth excavation
  • Oxford/Cambridge Drive - full-depth excavation
  • Various roads - granite curbs, concrete sidewalk and ramps
