Today, Congress passed a bipartisan budget bill that secures full funding for WIC, including over $1 billion in additional funding to ensure the program can serve every family that needs it. This landmark achievement is further highlighted by the extension of the expanded fruit and vegetable benefit, also known as the cash value benefit, a vital component of WIC’s nutritional support efforts.

This achievement is a direct reflection of the persistent advocacy, dedication, and unity within the WIC community and our champions in Congress.
