Town Offices Closed in Observance of Christmas and New Year's Day
East Hartford, CT – All town offices, including the East Hartford transfer station, will be closed Friday, December 25, 2020 in observance of Christmas Day. All town offices will reopen on Monday, December 28, 2020 for regularly scheduled hours of operation.
Additionally, all town offices, including the East Hartford transfer station, will be closed Friday, January 1, 2021, in observance of New Year’s Day. All town offices will reopen on Monday, January 4, 2021 for regularly scheduled hours of operation.
Please be reminded that weekly trash and recycling collection will not occur on Friday, December 25th, and Friday, January 1st and will be picked up the following Saturdays.
The normal transfer station schedule is as follows: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to Noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:35 p.m. (holidays excluded), and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. (holidays excluded).
