Town of East Hartford Offices Closed for New Year's Day.

All town offices, including the East Hartford transfer station, will be closed on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, in observance of New Year’s Day. All town offices will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 for regularly scheduled hours of operation.

Curbside trash pickup and recycling will be delayed by one day starting on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 and through Saturday January 5, 2019 due to the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day holidays. 

The normal transfer station schedule is as follows: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to Noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. (holidays excluded), and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. (holidays excluded).
