Tax Forms and Instructions Available at the East Hartford Public Library

Federal and State Tax Forms Now Available
East Hartford library tax forms and instructions

The East Hartford Public Library now has electronic access to federal and state tax forms and instructions. Over the next several weeks, print copies of these forms and instructions will be delivered to the library. Because the Library receives limited quantities of these print documents, patrons will be limited to one instruction booklet and a set of forms.

"This service is another great way for our library to serve as a community resource for the residents of East Hartford,” said Mayor Marcia A. Leclerc.

Patrons are welcome to come and take a copy of the forms and instructions, download and print these documents from the library computers at twenty-five cents a page, or make photocopies from the binder of forms and instructions provided by the IRS.

“Knowing how important timely filing of taxes is to our patrons, we are happy to offer access to federal and state tax documents to them,” said Library Director Sarah Morgan.

While the Library does not offer any tax help or advice, patrons can obtain a listing of local resources for free tax help at any service desk in the Library, or by contacting the Reference Department at (860) 290-4331 to learn more. The library is located at 840 Main Street, East Hartford.
