Several Town Buildings are Closed February 1, 2021

East Hartford, CT - Due to the impending snowstorm, the following East Hartford town buildings will be closed today, Monday, February 1, 2021: East Hartford Town Hall, East Hartford Public Library, East Hartford Community Cultural Center, East Hartford Senior Services and Transfer Station. All programs are canceled. Trash pickup is still on schedule. We anticipate opening buildings for Tuesday, February 2nd, any delays for clean up will be announced. 

The Public Works Department has deployed all available employees and plow trucks and asks for the publics support as we deal with diminished staffing availability. The transfer station is closed until Wednesday but curbside trash & recycling collection schedules remain unchanged. Please report any roadway service requests to public works at (860) 291-7374.
