Parks and Recreation Summer Camp Registration Now Available

East Hartford, CT—Summer is fast approaching and East Hartford Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for our six different summer camps. 

Our summer camps are open to children and teens ages 3 through 15, and are held at different sites throughout town. Camps will begin the week of June 24, 2019 and will be held for 7 weeks, with the exception of Camp Munchkin, our camp for 3 and 4 year olds and is a 6 week program.   

All summer campers will participate in a variety of activities including theme weeks, arts and crafts, sports and active play, nature activities and more. Campers ages 5 and up will also visit the pools where they will have free swim and receive swim instruction, and will attend off-site field trips at places like Jump Off, CT Science Center, Dinosaur State Park, bowling, batting cages and the movies.  Breakfast and lunch is provided for all campers through the Summer Meals Program! 

Camp brochures were distributed to all students attending East Hartford Public Schools.   Additional copies are available at the Parks and Recreation office at 50 Chapman Place or online. Registration is available on a weekly basis for all camps. Pre-registration is required for all camps at the Parks and Recreation office.
