Getting Your First Mortgage 101 Workshop

East Hartford, CT— East Hartford Works! invites all those who are prepared to take the first step toward home ownership, to the Getting Your First Mortgage Workshop! The mortgage 101 workshop will be held Wednesday, April 3, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the East Hartford Public Library, located at 840 Main Street. Attendees will hear from expert loan officers about learning all the fundamentals of home buying including:
- Determining your credit needs
- Getting your financial profile in order
- Learning about available down payments assistance programs
- How your mortgage payment is calculated and the next steps to take
