East Hartford Town Clerk Earns Important Official Designation
Robert Pasek Achieves Connecticut Certified Town Clerk Certification

July 1, 2014, East Hartford, CT -   East Hartford Town Clerk Robert J. Pasek recently received the designation of Certified Connecticut Town Clerk (CCTC) from the Connecticut State Certification Committee. To receive the prestigious CCTC certification, an applicant must have professional experience in the Town Clerk’s office of local government and have demonstrated a commitment to high standards of integrity and to lifelong learning and professional development.

Said Mayor Marcia Leclerc “Robert has done an amazing job and we are delighted he continues to serve the Town of East Hartford.”

During his time as East Hartford’s Town Clerk, Pasek has dedicated himself to professional excellence and exceptional customer service in the Clerk’s office. Pasek was appointed by Mayor Leclerc to the position of East Hartford’s Town Clerk in 2011 and immediately raised the level of customer service and efficiency throughout the department.  For example, a complete upgrade of the records system was completed and documents such as land records and maps have been uploaded to a database for easy access. Recent land records are also available to the public online, an example of how the department is dedicated to providing convenient access.

Prior to his appointment Pasek served as a Site Acquisition Agent for SNET/AT&T for 22 years.  He has also made significant contributions to a number of East Hartford organizations, including the East Hartford Historical Society, Friends of Center Cemetery and was a past member of the East Hartford Historic District Commission.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Eastern Connecticut State University.
