East Hartford Parks and Recreation Revised Indoor Pool Use

East Hartford, CT— The State of Connecticut has revised the recently updated sector rules relating to pool operations, and set a new maximum of 6 swimmers permitted to be in a pool at one time. In order to accommodate as many patrons as possible, the East Hartford Parks and Recreation Department will be implementing 30-minute blocks of swimming time with a maximum of 6 swimmers permitted for each block.  

Reservations are available weekly on Monday mornings at 9 AM on a first-come, first-served basis by calling the East Hartford Parks and Rec office at 860-291-7160.  Reservations are only available to East Hartford residents.  Residents may reserve up to two time slots per week, per person.  Please note that you are only able to make reservations for yourself or your immediate family members at this time.  All other previous pool rules are still in effect.  In fairness to all of our swimmers, please note that if you reserve a block of swim time, you are committing to attend that swim time.  If you are unable to attend, you must notify the Parks and Recreation office no later than 3pm on the day of your reservation.  If you do not notify us, and do not show to your scheduled reservation, you will lose the ability to register for a block of swim time the following week.
