East Hartford Parks and Recreation Now Offering Special Olympics Fall Bowling

East Hartford, CT-  East Hartford Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that registration is now available for our Special Olympics Fall Bowling. This program is open to individuals with special needs ages 8 and up.  Returning and new athletes can now register online at www.ehparks.org.

The Special Olympics Fall Bowling program will feature Saturday morning practices for 9 weeks. On the last day, there will be an inter-team bowling competition with post event awards.   Practices will be held at Hall of Fame Silver Lanes, 748 Silver Ln, East Hartford, on Saturdays, Oct 16th- December 11th from 10:00am - 12:00pm.  The fee for the program is $90 for residents or $99 for non-residents.  The fee includes 2 games of bowling and shoes at each practice.

Mask are required while inside the bowling facility. Our program will be adhering to the Special Olympics of Connecticut COVID-19 guidelines. Prior to participating in any practices, Athletes and their parent/guardian(s)s are required to visit the Special Olympics of CT website at https://www.soct.org/forms/ and complete the following:

  • View the Return to Activities (RTA) videos and documents
  • Complete the RTA: Participant Code of Conduct and Risk Assessment Form*
  • Complete the Waiver Form for Event Participants *

* Forms are to be turned in to Parks and Recreation staff by the first practice.
