East Hartford Invites Residents to Create a Holiday Lights Map, Spread Holiday Cheer
East Hartford, CT - There are many beautifully decorated homes in East Hartford, and we want to showcase them for all to enjoy this holiday season! We know that many of our residents are looking forward to seeing festive decorations and twinkling lights, and taking a drive to view the holiday lights is a wonderful way to experience the magic of the season in a safe and socially distanced way.
If you live in East Hartford, love to decorate for the holidays and would like to be listed on the map, we invite you to upload of photo of your home (in all its lighted and decorated glory) and include your address on our interactive map here.
To include your street, click on the map, type in your address in the search bar and click “ok.” Once submitted, your location will be added automatically to our map of participating homes. We ask that participants who put their locations on the map, keep their lights on and decorations out every evening through at least December 25, 2020. One participating house will be chosen at random for a Parks and Recreation prize pack on December 23rd. The winner will be announced on the Parks and Recreation Facebook Page.
