East Hartford Health Department Offers Flu and COVID-19 Drive-thru Clinic
East Hartford, CT – The East Hartford Health Department is offering a drive-thru flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday, November 4th for residents 12 years and older. Regular and high dose flu vaccines will be available at the clinic as well as the updated COVID-19 Moderna (Spikevax) vaccine. The drive-thru clinic will be conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 90 Remington Road near Norris Elementary and McAuliffe Park. Residents are advised to access Remington Road from McKee Street and follow the signs for the clinic entrance. The clinic will have a walk-up vaccine station for residents arriving by public transportation or on foot from nearby neighborhoods.
No appointment is needed. Residents are advised to bring their insurance and ID cards; however, no one will be turned away. PLEASE NOTE: Currently, the COVID-19 vaccine is only for East Hartford residents due to limited supply and funding source. Contact the health department closer to the clinic date to see if there is inventory for residents from other towns.
