Dads Are Our Heroes!
East Hartford, CT – In honor and celebration of fathers and dads, you are invited to the 5th Annual Dads Hero Community Event on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11 AM to 2 PM at The East Hartford Town Green (Alumni Park), located at 1021 Main Street.
This event highlights the vital role Dads play in their children’s lives. Anyone can father a child, but being a dad takes a lifetime. Fathers play a role in every child’s life that others cannot fill. Come and have a great time with other dads, families, and children! There will be a fun-filled afternoon of; field day games, entertainment, food and drinks.
Father involvement has increased dramatically over the past several decades. Simultaneously, the role of fathers in their families has evolved from conceptions of fathers as distant breadwinners to a more holistic recognition that they are equal co-parents.
