Compost Available at the East Hartford Transfer Station

High quality organic compost is now available for pickup at the East Hartford Transfer Station. Residents can pick up two (2) five gallon buckets of compost for free with photo ID showing East Hartford residence, while supplies last. Residents should bring their own buckets, shovels and gloves to collect the compost. This compost is provided by the Town as a by-product of the annual leaf collection program.
