East Hartford, CT - The next East Hartford Police Coffee with a Cop takes place from 08:00AM to 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 20th, at Dunkin’, 303 Ellington Road, East Hartford, Connecticut.  All are welcome.

Even COVID-19 cannot stop Community Spirit in East Hartford!  After a pause due to the pandemic, The East Hartford Police Department is once again inviting everyone to take a moment to join them for a cup of coffee and conversation. Coffee With A Cop returns and is taking place on Tuesday, July 20th from 8:00 to 10:00 AM at Dunkin’, 303 Ellington Road in East Hartford.

Since 2016, the East Hartford Police Department has hosted a regular program designed to bring police officers and the community members they serve together – over coffee – to discuss issues and learn more about each other.  No agenda, no speeches. Talk with police about your neighborhood, ask questions, share concerns, or stop by just to chat.

“Events like this provide access and opportunity for distraction-free conversations between East Hartford Police Officers and folks within the community we serve,” said Police Chief Scott Sansom.  “If you have a few moments, please stop by for a friendly chat.  Everyone is welcome,” Sansom added.

The Coffee With A Cop program is recognized worldwide for building community trust and partnership. In a short time, citizens and police officers get to know each other and discover mutual goals for the communities they live in and serve. Chief Sansom and the East Hartford Police Department encourage everyone to stop by.

*Attendees are asked to follow the State mask protocol.
