Boat Launch Closed at Great River Park

Alert Message from Riverfront Recapture - Docks have not been installed at Riverside Park or Great River Park due to river conditions. We do not recommend launching your boat from Riverside Park or Great River Park. 

Dock installation has been prohibited due to the late spring flood start and prolonged high water period since then. The river has to be at elevation 6 or lower for us to remove the accumulated silt and install the docks. We recognize that this is atypical of most years, and thank boaters in advance for their cooperation. We will continue to monitor the river levels to determine when it is possible to install the docks and allow boaters to launch from them safely. Until then, we do not recommend launching, and doing so is at your own risk.
