29th Annual Senior Picnic

EAST HARTFORD - The East Hartford Senior Picnic, sponsored by the Commission on Aging and Mayor Marcia A. Leclerc, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Club, 200 Clement Road, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m.

This year's menu includes barbecue chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, salads and dessert. Dale Griffith of Into the Groove will provide musical entertainment. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the afternoon.

Tickets are $6 each ($10 for non-residents) and will be sold at the South End Senior Center by the Commission on Aging members from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets will be sold through Tuesday, Sept. 8. Tickets will not be sold at the door. The theme is "western attire," be sure to wear yours!
