Town of East Hartford Recognized for Excellence in Financial Reporting

East Hartford, CT— The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded the Town of East Hartford the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication and professionalism of our Finance Director and CAO Melissa McCaw and her team.
