Town of East Hartford Offices Closed on Veterans Day
East Hartford, CT—All town offices, including the East Hartford Transfer Station will be closed Friday, November 11, 2022 in observance of Veterans Day. There will be no leaf collection on Friday, November 11. The Transfer Station will be open Saturday, November 12, 2022 for leaf drop off only from 8 AM to 1:45 PM. All town offices will reopen on Monday, November 14, 2022 for regularly scheduled hours of operation.
Please note, this closure will not affect curbside waste pickup. Curbside trash pickup and recycling will follow a normal schedule and will be picked up on Friday, November 11.

The normal transfer station schedule is as follows: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to Noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. (holidays excluded), and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. (holidays excluded). The transfer station is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
