Join Congressman Larson, Mayor Michael P. Walsh, Town Council Chair Rich Kehoe, library director Sarah Kline Morgan, members of the East Hartford Commission on Culture and Fine Arts, members of the East Hartford Commission on Services for Persons with Disabilities, and the East Hartford community at the Wickham Memorial Library Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:30 AM to celebrate the renovation and re-opening of the Wickham Memorial Library!

Wickham Library reopened to the public in May of 2023, following a renovation that added an elevator and ADA-accessible bathrooms. We are finally having a party to celebrate this major achievement! Gather at 11:30 AM for a ceremony on the lawn to be followed by a concert by the Hartford Steel Symphony.

Bring a picnic lunch—we’ll supply a sweet treat to be enjoyed during the concert. In the event of rain, the celebration will be moved indoors.
