Whiffenpoofs of Yale in East Hartford

The East Hartford Fine Arts Commission is proud to present the Whiffenpoofs of Yale in concert on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 7 o’clock in the evening at Goodwin College’s Auditorium, One Riverside Drive, as part of the College’s Humanities Festival.  Admission is free! 

Every year, 14 senior Yale men are selected to be the Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group. Founded in 1909, the "Whiffs" began as a senior quartet that met for weekly concerts at Mory's Temple Bar, the famous Yale tavern. Today, the group has become one of Yale's most celebrated traditions.  Over the years, the Whiffenpoofs have been invited to feature on a variety of television programs, including The West WingSaturday Night LiveJeopardy!,Gilmore Girls,  The Sing-Off, and Glee
