East Hartford Among Towns Promoting Local Restaurants

The Town of East Hartford is running a contest called East Hartford Eats where consumers can win one of fifteen gift cards to local restaurants by patronizing restaurants that are currently offering take-out or delivery. It is among a number of similar local promotions to encourage support of local business during the coronavirus pandemic, recently profiled by the Hartford Courant.
