Design firm relocates from Bloomfield to historic East Hartford school building

Building design and construction firm Solidus Inc. has relocated their headquarters from Bloomfield to East Hartford's historic Second North School. The building had most recently been home to a banquet and catering facility, which rented the space from the Town. Following the closure of that business, the Town sold the building to Solidus, who renovated the space for more than $250,000. This has ensured the continuation of vitality and jobs at this location and returned the building to the tax rolls.
