1.Call to Order – Meeting was called to order at 6:43 p.m.

2. Roll Call

Present: Vanessa Jenkins (Chair), Veronica Rosario, Rachel Botts, Krista Mangiafico (Clerk)

Absent: Sunilda Caminero (e), Kim Tipton, Rena Berube (e), Joe Garabedian

Opportunity for Residents to Speak – None present

Introduction to new member, Rachel Botts, approved to join committee on 1/4/22 by Mayor.  Sworn in on 1/19/22 @8:36 am.  

 Old Business- 

A.  Creating new pamphlets, business cards, packets to be handed out at festivals, parades and resource fairs.

B.  Budget approval for printing costs, clerk's payment and food for special needs recreational groups offered through the town. 

6. New Business-

A.  Town phone number for commission, who handles calls and voicemails?  Creating a Google Voice number/voicemail that is accessible by members for incoming calls to committee.

B.  Attending Town Council meetings in regards to new apartments being built at old Showcase Theater site and making sure that some apartments are handicap accessible. 

C. Memorial Day parade-Setting up table with commission information at Falling Star Memorial and marching in parade with disabled children and veterans.

D. Access to teams for future meetings to be hybrid (in person and online)

E. Voting to pay clerk. No Quorum/ discussed and voted on by present members.  Approved by committee. 

F.  Social Media access for committee. PSAs on how to contact town to report issues on ADA compliance.

G. Inviting Public Works to guest speak at next meeting to become familiar with committee members and roles.
