Counseling Coordinator Needed!

East Hartford Youth Services 
is seeking a 
Counseling Coordinator

The Counseling Coordinator position is a full-time, fully benefited position with the Town of East Hartford. The person who fills this position oversees the clinical counseling services at East Hartford Youth Services. Their role includes guidance and crisis intervention to young people and their families, intake management of new clients, case management on ongoing clients, intern and staff management, and collaboration with the town and community partners.

This is a dynamic position within a department focused on collaboration, providing mental health services to youth and families, and building positive programing and social-emotional learning opportunities.  The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, supervisory skills, and be adept at both working solo and within a team. 

A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field is encouraged. Bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
