What documents do I need to bring with me when applying for one of the Social Service Divisions Programs?

At the time of application the following documentation must be presented:

  • Proof of East Hartford residency: photo ID with current address, current bill or current rent receipt
  • Proof of current gross monthly household income
  • Up to date budget sheet from DSS (if applicable)
  • Dates of birth for all family/household members
  • Long form birth certificates or copies for all household members under age 18
  • Proof of guardianship/custody, if applicable
