East Hartford Silver Lane Advisory Committee to Host Public Forum

(May 28, 2018) East Hartford, CT – The Town of East Hartford and the East Hartford Silver Lane Advisory Committee will host a public forum on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Silver Lane Elementary School, located at 15 Mercer Avenue in East Hartford, to obtain the public’s feedback on priority goals and strategies for revitalizing the Silver Lane corridor.

The Committee held its first public forum in January, which focused on collecting different perspectives on the future vision for Silver Lane.  Since January, the Committee has used this information to craft a vision statement for the corridor and develop draft goals and strategies to achieve that vision.

Property owners, businesses, residents, and members of the public are encouraged to attend. The East Hartford Silver Lane Advisory Committee was formed to guide a grant-funded study of how to best redevelop the commercial areas of Silver Lane, running from Main Street to Forbes Street.
