Visiting Vibrant East Hartford Businesses

East Hartford has a vibrant, and and diverse business community. We are welcoming new and expanding businesses to our community and celebrating businesses that have been in East Hartford for generations. We are proud to be a business friendly community, and we are constantly working to make East Hartford an even better place to work and grow. We continue to seek new ways to listen to and communicate with our business community. I am always inspired by the passionate, innovative and caring people who work in East Hartford – and grateful to share their stories and their dedication to our community.

Last month I began our 2017 business visits with East Hartford companies large and small. The purpose of these tours is to learn more about each business, the industry they work in, and to mutually discover ways that we can support each other for success and growth.

A team of key Town directors, including Development, Finance, Public Safety and others are joining me on these tours to learn more about the operations, challenges, renovation plans, employment, security, and other aspects of the companies we visit. We are touring businesses of all sizes, in every industry, as we work to learn more about the diverse and complementary needs and interests of our broad based business partners in East Hartford.
