New Escape Room at the Library

Escpae Wonderland

Escape Wonderland!

The East Hartford Public Library is proud to announce the upcoming launch of its third escape room. An escape room is a popular immersive puzzle game where a group of participants are “locked” in a room and must solve a series of clues and puzzles in order to find the answer, key, or solution to “escape” and win.

This round, the theme is “Alice in Wonderland” and participants will be invited into Wonderland to solve a puzzle that includes Augmented Reality (AR) and other Makerspace components:

You’ve popped over to Wonderland for a tea party with the Mad Hatter, and have had a wonderful time! Unfortunately, he’s forgotten how to get you back to your world. You have an hour to escape or you will be trapped in this tea party forever!

Sessions will begin in April, and will be scheduled throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. One ticket costs $30 and admits up to six people for one session. The program runs for 60 minutes, but please arrive 10 minutes early to receive instructions. Due to the nature of this program, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, we may not be able to accommodate your group. Please keep that in mind when reserving your times. All proceeds benefit the East Hartford Public Library Makerspace. This program is best-suited for adults and children ages 10 and up. No child under age 5 will be admitted.
