Town Offices Closed for Thanksgiving Day

East Hartford, CT— All town offices, including the East Hartford Transfer Station, will be closed on Thursday, November 28, in observance of Thanksgiving Day. All town offices will reopen on Friday, November 29, 2019 for regularly scheduled hours of operation.

Curbside trash pickup and recycling will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. There will be no leaf pickup on Thanksgiving Day. The next week’s curbside pickup will follow a normal schedule.

The normal transfer station schedule is as follows:  Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:35 p.m. (holidays excluded), and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. (holidays excluded). The transfer station is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
