Town Of East Hartford Parks & Recreation Department Improves Online Recreation Registration With MyRec.Com

East Hartford, CT –As fall programs begin to open for registration, East Hartford Parks and Recreation has moved to a new program registration system.

The East Hartford Parks & Recreation Department has partnered with MyRec.com to implement its recreation management software solution. This new platform allows residents a greater access to recreational activities, classes, park/facility rentals and services offered by the Department. This new registration software replaces the existing webtrac program, but is still available at www.ehparks.org.

“We are excited to usher in a new era of program accessibility, ease of use, and services for our residents,” said Assistant Director, Sean Dwyer. “MyRec.com will make finding information and registering for activities easier than ever before.”

MyRec.com is easy to use and is also mobile-friendly, allowing citizens to search for activities, register for programs, and remit payment from a traditional desktop as well as the latest smartphones and tablets.

The East Hartford Parks & Recreation Department’s MyRec.com interface is now live. While the domain remains the same, residents must create a new user/household account at www.ehparks.org before registering for a program, even if they had an account under webtrac.
