Town of East Hartford Offices Closed for Memorial Day
Curbside Waste Collection Delayed One Day Effective Tuesday, May 29

(May 22, 2018) East Hartford, CT – Mayor Marcia A. Leclerc and the Department of Public Works announced that all town offices, including the East Hartford transfer station, will be closed Monday, May 28, 2018 in observance of Memorial Day. All town offices, including the transfer station, will reopen on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 for regularly scheduled hours of operation.

Curbside trash pickup and recycling will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week beginning Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Next week’s curbside pickup will follow a normal schedule. Please note that on Saturday May 26, the Public Works Office located at 61 Ecology Drive, will be open for Spring Bulky Waste Permit Registration and bulky waste collection from 8:00 am to 1:45 pm.

The normal transfer station schedule is as follows: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to Noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. (holidays excluded), and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. (holidays excluded).
