Sandwich with a Cop-Tuesday, November 6, 2018

In the spirit of the successful community outreach program "Coffee With A Cop," the East Hartford Police Department announces the next SANDWICH WITH A COP will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6th at Subway Restaurant, 309 Ellington Road, East Hartford.

All community members are invited to join East Hartford Police Officers—over a sandwich—to discuss issues and learn more about each other. There is no agenda, no speeches. This is a great opportunity for residents to talk about their neighborhood, ask questions, share concerns, or stop by just to chat.
“We recognize Community Policing as a framework for establishing trust between the community and the police,” said Police Chief Scott Sansom. “Events like these have proven successful in bringing police officers and the community members they serve together in a relaxed, non-emergency setting. Stop by and see us on your lunch break, everyone is welcome.”
