First Annual Christmas Tree Wish List Program is a Success!

East Hartford, CT - This holiday season, The East Hartford Commission on Aging introduced a new initiative to support our East Hartford senior residents staying at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation. Thanks to support from our community, we successfully collected gifts for patients at Riverside, checking off everything on their Christmas lists! 

The Commission on Aging and Riverside Health Care wish to offer our heartfelt and grateful appreciation to all those who donated to this wonderful program. Donations were made by individuals, families, and Girl Scout Troop 10865.

Twenty five recipients were joyous and delighted to receive their gifts and were touched by your generosity. The presentation was made on December 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm.

Both the Commission and Riverside have decided to make this an annual event, and look forward to many more years of this meaningful new tradition.
