East Hartford, CT—East Hartford Town facilities will open for limited access and by appointment only on Tuesday, September 8. Visitors must make an appointment in advance with the department they are looking to access. Upon arriving, visitors should park in spaces designed for visitor parking and call the department they’ve made an appointment with to confirm their arrival; then a Town Hall employee will greet them at the front door and escort them to their appointment. Additional requirements may apply based on the appointment type and department.

All visitors will be required to complete a health-screening questionnaire, have their temperature taken, wear a face mask and follow strict social distancing measures.

“As we continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s instrumental that we take appropriate safety measures to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus,” said Mayor Marcia Leclerc. “Please continue to be vigilant and protect yourself and our staff by adhering to social distancing measures, wearing facemasks and following recommended precautions in our facilities and beyond.”
