East Hartford Police Department and Parks and Recreation Invite you to Youth Basketball Program

East Hartford, CT— The East Hartford Police Department in collaboration with Parks and Recreation is once again offering a Youth Basketball Program this summer. The program is designed to build relationships between the East Hartford Youth, Police Officers and the community through positive engagement, and to provide a structured environment to learn, develop, and improve their basketball skills.

The staff, made up of East Hartford Police Officers, will focus on individual and team fundamental skills.  Officers will emphasize the importance of teamwork, respect, attention to detail, effective communication, and knowledge of the game. The goal is for everyone to improve their skills, have FUN, and get to know a police officer in town. Participants will complete registration forms on site. This program is free to participants. The program meets at Labor Park and Hockanum Courts on Tuesdays at 10:00 – 11:30 AM from June 21- July 26.  

June 21st –  Labor Courts

June 28th – Hockanum Courts

July 5th –     Labor Courts 

July 12th –  Hockanum Courts 

July 19th -   Labor Park Courts 

July 26th -   Hockanum Courts
