East Hartford Parks and Recreation Invites You to the Annual Fall Festival

East Hartford, CT – It was a wonderful summer in the Town of East Hartford! To celebrate the upcoming fall season, East Hartford Parks & Recreation would like to invite you to the Annual Fall Festival. The event will take place on Saturday, October 9 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, at the East Hartford Town Green, 1047 Main Street. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held Sunday, October 10 from 11:00 am -3:00 pm. Fall Fest is one of the Town’s largest events, averaging over 2,000 participants the past few years and there is always loads of fun activities for the entire family to keep you busy celebrating the autumn season all afternoon. The admission to the festival is free, but wristbands for children's activities are available for $5. The wristbands provide an unlimited access to  activities, attractions, games and one pumpkin decorating activity. Participants will get to take their pumpkin home.

The Fall Fest is the perfect family-friendly community event that offers fun activities for children and adults alike. Among many activities, this year there will be a petting zoo, a variety of vendors, food, pumpkin painting, scarecrow decorating, pumpkin bounce house, inflatable corn maze and more. Crafters, vendors and nonprofit organizations are welcome to participate in this event.

The Fall Fest signs will be displayed around town to assist visitors in locating the fun-filled venue. The East Hartford Police advises visitors to access Alumni Park via 84 Roberts Street Exit, left onto Hillside, left onto Burnside, Left onto Main Street and turn right into Alumni Park. There should not be traffic in that area. There will be rangers at the entrance directing people into the park.
