East Hartford Outdoor Pools To Open Monday, July 6, 2020
East Hartford, CT – The Town of East Hartford will be opening its outdoor pools this summer to provide residents with opportunities for recreational swim. The pools are scheduled to open Monday, July 6th, 2020. The Parks and Recreation Department staff is working with local and state agencies to comply with all safety requirements due to COVID-19, including social distancing regulations, capacity restrictions, disinfecting procedures, and other, in order to ensure the safety of our lifeguard staff and all of our swimmers.
Our staff is working to finalize pool hours, which will be adjusted to provide for increased scheduled cleaning times throughout the day, while maximizing available time for swimmers.
