CT DOT to Replace Overhead Sign on I-84 East

The Connecticut Department of Trasportation has informed the Town of East Hartford of the developing plans to replace existing overhead sign supports due to them being structurally obsolete. In East Hartford, the work will be done on the sign on I-84 East, 1/4 mile before Exit 59 to I-384 East.
The existing signs and supports will be removed and new side-mounted or overhead mounted signs and supports will be installed. The new supports will comply with current state and federal standards.
