COVID-19 Vaccination Information for Childcare Providers

childcare providers eligible for vaccine

East Hartford, CT - Effective March 1, childcare providers living or working in the state of CT are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. Providers eligible in the childcare category include adults 18 years and older that work at childcare centers, family childcare homes, youth camps, and municipally operated programs that are currently open (operating and providing child care), and those who expect to open within 60 days of scheduling their vaccine. The goal of the East Hartford Health Department is for all childcare staff in East Hartford who wish to be vaccinated to receive their first dose in the month of March.

The Town of East Hartford is asking for childcare providers to help us with outreach to eligible staff so we can schedule appointments at ongoing Town vaccination clinics. Your outreach will also help us plan for scheduling additional clinics as needed.

We make scheduling an appointment easy!
