Construction on Tolland Street

The milling and paving of Tolland Street is expected to begin July 10. The project will span the area from School Street  to Long Hill Street. The project will be conducted in several phases but the road will remain open. The East Hartford PoliceDepartment will be on site to assist motorists with traffic direction to avoid road closure, however this might cause some traffic delays. Motorists are asked to pay attention to the construction signs and officers directing traffic as well as heavy equipment, construction workers and materials being used to execute this project.
