After-Hours COVID Vaccination Clinics for East Hartford Childcare Providers

East Hartford, CT— The Town of East Harford has scheduled two after-hours COVID-19 vaccine clinics dedicated specifically for our local childcare providers. These clinics will be held on the following days:

  • Saturday, March 27, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Monday, March 29, 6:00 - 8:00 PM

The clinics will be held at the East Hartford Community Cultural Center, 50 Chapman Place, East Hartford CT, 06108.

We make scheduling your appointment easy!

Childcare providers can call the Town of East Hartford Health Department at 860-291-7324 (five days a week from 8:30am to 4:30 pm) to schedule an appointment. You can also email your appointment request to health@easthartfordct.gov.

Providers eligible in the childcare category include adults 18 years and older that work at childcare centers, family childcare homes, and youth camps expected to operate within the next 60 days. Help us reach our goal of vaccinating ALL childcare staff in East Hartford who wish to be vaccinated to receive their first dose in the month of March.

What you need to know before your appointment:

  • Bring Identification and insurance card with you to the vaccination appointment. You will not be billed for the vaccine if your insurance does not cover it. Uninsured people can also receive the vaccine.
     
  • Please plan to bring a form of proof of childcare employment, such as your childcare license, work ID, or pay stub.
     
  • The Town of East Hartford will be scheduling after-hours clinics for your second shot.
     
  • If you have questions about getting the vaccine, please call 860-291-7324 (five days a week from 8:30am to 4:30 pm).
