First Choice to Promote Behavioral and LGBTQ+ Services at East Hartford Farmers' Market

First Choice Health Centers (FCHC), in addition to offering COVID-19 vaccinations at the East Hartford Farmers' Market, will now promote additional clinic services through 10/29/21, including behavioral health and LGBTQ+ health. As always, no appointment or insurance is required to receive any of the COVID-19 vaccines. First dose recipients will receive $20 in Farmers' Market vouchers to be redeemed any time before 10/29/21. View a flyer for this event.

Choose between:

  • Moderna:
    • Two shots are required at least 28 days apart
    • Age 18 and over
  • Pfizer:
    • Two shots are required at least 21 days apart
    • FDA approved for everyone age 12 and over
    • Booster doses offered for Pfizer only. Read more about booster dose recommendations.

A representative will be preent to discuss the availability of the following services through FCHC:

Behavioral Health

  • Individual, Couples & Group Therapy

  • Substance Abuse Counseling

  • Alcohol Abuse Counseling

  • Smoking Cessation Programs

LGBTQ+ Health:

  • Preventative care such as routine physicals

  • Comprehensive testing for sexually transmitted infections including throat and rectal tests for gonorrhea and chlamydia

  • PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV)

  • PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis for HIV)

  • Anal pap tests for people at high risk for anal cancer

  • HIV treatment

  • Hepatitis C treatment

  • Gender-affirming hormone therapy

  • Cervical cancer screening

  • Breast cancer screening

  • Pregnancy testing
