East Harford Youth Services Invites Residents to Participate in a Survey to Identify the Perception of Risk / Harm from Marijuan

East Hartford, CT—The Town of East Hartford Department of Youth Services and the East Hartford Local Prevention Council are launching a survey to understand residents’ perception of the risk of harm to youth (ages 12-18) from marijuana & vaping.

**TAKE THE SURVEY**

East Hartford Youth Services and the Local Prevention Council are also interested in receiving input about the importance of specific prevention messages. Responses will help guide local communications and education targeted to East Hartford youth and young adults.

The survey is anonymous, but the information that respondents provide will help East Hartford’s Youth Services & the Local Prevention Council design local substance abuse prevention strategies for youth that will have the most impact.

This community-wide survey is open to adults (18 years of age and older) who live and or work in the Town of East Hartford. This survey asks no questions about personal or individual substance use and behaviors. Respondents will be asked to reflect upon what they “see” in their community. No one will be mentioned by name in the results. No one completing this survey will be identifiable. Responses will be collected through April 14, 2023.

If you have questions about this survey, please contact Youth Services Director Cephus Nolen at 860-291-7179.
