Employee Assistance Program Worklife Customer Support Associate-CVS

****Fully Remote Role; Anywhere within U.S.*****

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am- 5:30pm EST. Schedules subject to change at any time with advanced notice.

As a 24-hour call center operation, employees are required to support holiday coverage at a reduced staffing level. This means working some holidays and observing the holiday on others.

  • Answer inbound calls from providers regarding EAP/mental health benefits, authorizations, and claims questions
  • Maintain provider records in Stoplight/Relationship Manager/Smart Front End, document each contact with provider and/or member
  • Connect member with additional benefits/external resources as needed
  • Create authorizations for face-to-face counseling
  • Negotiate Single Case Agreement rates with providers that are not contracted with EAP
  • Assist with Account Executive Inquiries, e.g. reviewing network/provider availability concerns, incorrect information given to members, outreach calls to member as needed
  • Assist with inbound MES call volume as needed

East Hartford Police Department Holiday Toy Drive

East Hartford, CT - The East Hartford Police Department invites you to participate in the annual Holiday Toy Drive. The event will take place Friday, November 25th, 10 AM to 1 PM. Please bring unwrapped, new toys and clothes to TJ Maxx at 5 Main Street, East Hartford. All donated items will be delivered to families on December 15th. We appreciate your generosity. 

Veteran Day Flag Raising

The East Hartford Veterans Commission would like to extend an open invitation to join us in a memorable experience to honor our Veterans by placing an American flag at the Veteran’s headstones for Veterans Day.

The ceremony will take place 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱 𝗮𝘁 𝟴 𝗔𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆.

We welcome all volunteers who want to honor our Veterans. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a long screwdriver to help make a hole in the hard earth for the flag shaft.

Poets Reading Poetry!

Poets are invited to share their poems on the theme of “play” (noun or verb). Ten poems/poets will be chosen to read in a prepared program followed by an open mic. Videos of performed pieces may be sent to [email protected], or email text of poem(s) to be read. Limit of four (4) minutes per poet.

Featured poets with East Hartford roots include Marilyn Johnston, Jane Schneeloch, John Stanizzi and Elizabeth Thomas. For adult and teens.

Drive Thru Clinic

The East Hartford Health Department will be holding a drive-thru flu and COVID-19 booster clinic on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐. The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 30 Remington Road (the former North End Senior Center). Residents are advised to enter on McKee Street and through the Norris Elementary School entrance.

No appointment is required. Residents are advised to bring their insurance and ID cards; however, no one will be turned away. To speak with a public health nurse or to schedule an appointment at another clinic, contact the EH Health Department at 860-291-7324 (option 1).
