Monday, July 13, 6:00 - 7:00 PM
Join us for a fun summer read along of stories to boost literacy and language skills for children. Stories shared include books by well-known and local authors. Registered families will be eligible to receive a copy of this week's book (while supplies last). This program is in partnership with Board of Education member Tyron Victor Harris, Town Council member Sebrina Wilson and Read to Grow. Best suited for families with children ages 3-10 years old. 
 
Tuesday July 14, 3:00 - 4:00 PM
Fun crafts, games and more! Bring your own snacks and enjoy catching up your friends and library staff through Zoom. We will teach you how to make cool crafts from home or test your trivia skills. Check the calendar each week to see what we have planned! Grades 6-12.
This week we will have a virtual show and tell! Bring something special that you want to share with your friends! We will also have an Emoji Book Title Challenge! 
 
Tuesday, July 14, 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Your favorite blockbuster performers are back at the library….this time online! Join us for an evening of science and storytelling with an exciting performance of Dragons: the Return of the Ice Sorceress. This interactive presentation will include polls, quizzes, and bonus material to do yourself at home. Suitable for an all-ages family audience.
 
Wednesday, July 15, 10:00 - 10:45 AM
Join us for fun with stories, games, fingerplays, music, and more! Have a scarf or something to soft to wave and a shaker or something that makes noise handy to use. Best suited for ages 2-6 years old. 
 
Thursday, July 16, 3:00 - 4:00 PM
 If you have questions about tech, or are excited about a new technology, come and talk! You may learn how to use our online resources, or ask questions about your devices, or about social media. Topics may include specific software programs or general approaches to tech. As always, if you wish to schedule a one-on-one lesson, call the library and ask to Book A Librarian. 
 
Saturday, July 18, 10:00 - 11:00 AM
Our therapy dogs are back! Children may sign up for an online session to read to a certified therapy dog. Our furry friends and their humans are members of Healers with Halos Therapy Dogs, sponsored by Bolton Veterinary Hospital. Make sure to have a book or two to read during the session. If you need books, families can call the library to arrange curbside or walk-up ​pickup of books. 
 

Pick up a make-and-take kit now for a program to be held on Wednesday, July 22!

Build a catapult along with us to launch soft things! Enjoy a fun project at home with a make and take catapult kit. For ages 7-12.
Register and call (860.290.4330) to make an appointment for a curbside or walkup supply pick up. If you’re unable to make the program time a video walkthrough can be found on our Youtube channel. One kit per child.
