Join us on the library lawn on October 16 at noon for a thrilling performance from the Thunderbird American Indian Dance Troupe!

The oldest resident Native American dance company in New York, Thunderbird American Indian Dancers was founded in 1963 by descendants of the Mohawk, Hopi, Winnebago, and San Blas tribes. With a mission to keep alive the traditions, songs, and dances learned from their parents, the troupe has toured the U.S., expanding and sharing their repertory. The program will be led by Louis Mofsie, one of the company's founders and its Director, who will explain all elements in depth through detailed introductions throughout the performance.

For all ages. Bring chairs or a picnic blanket to sit on.
