September Art Exhibit: “Our Happiness Throughout the Pandemic”

The East Hartford Public Library is proud to host the MARC, Inc. of Manchester’s art show, "Our Happiness Throughout the Pandemic."
During the past year of Covid-19, the people of MARC, Inc. have been using their creativity to fashion art to uplift people during tough times. Photographic artist Lynn Damon and MARC staff and volunteers provided instruction.
Since 1952, MARC, Inc. provides the opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful lives of independence, choice, inclusion, and continuous personal growth.
“We are pleased to host this amazing art exhibit,” said Library Director Sarah Kline Morgan. “The art included in this show continues the library’s strong commitment to showcasing art of local community members of all backgrounds and abilities.”

The show may be viewed the month of September 2021 during the library’s open hours: Monday, 9 am-5 pm; Tuesday-Thursday, 9 am – 8 pm, Friday, 9 am-5pm, and Saturday, 10 am-2 pm.There is no charge. The library is located at 840 Main St., East Hartford, CT 06108.
