UTC Announces Additional Investment at Opening of East Hartford Research Center

East Hartford Mayor Marcia Leclerc joined Governor Dannel P. Malloy, United Technologies CEO Greg Hayes, and other dignataries at the grand opening ceremony for the newly-expanded and refurbished United Technologies Research Center at UTC's Rentschler Field campus on Friday, June 2nd. While celebrating this $60 million investment, supported by the State's 2014 Connecticut Aerospace Reinvestment Act, UTC announced an additional $115 million investment in research facilities for the East Hartford campus: a $75 million Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence and a $40 million Engine Compressor Research facility.
